The Most Customer-Friendly Policies in the Company Picnic Industry.

No one likes complicated policies and a lot of fine print, so we keep it simple.

How Picnic Master’s Rain Policy Is Different

Most companies in our industry offer very limited flexibility when it comes to weather-related changes. Typically, the only no-penalty option is to move a Saturday event to the following Sunday, provided the venue is available. Rescheduling to a future date often comes with significant fees or penalties.

Picnic Master Takes a More Client-Friendly Approach.

Our rain policy offers greater flexibility, including options to reschedule to a future date, especially for late-season events - without penalties. While availability can vary, we always make every reasonable effort to accommodate a new date. In short, while many providers limit your options, Picnic Master prioritizes flexibility, fairness, and peace of mind.

Clients may cancel their event up to four (4) days prior to the scheduled event date based on the weather forecast with NO PENALTY. Any unrecoverable expenses incurred by third-party vendors (such as specialty entertainment) may be billed to the client. Events canceled due to unfavorable weather must be rescheduled within the same calendar year to avoid forfeiture of the 30% deposit. (For comparison, many companies in our industry require a 50% deposit.)

We also offer a LATE SEASON EVENT RAIN POLICY. Events scheduled after October 1 may elect to reschedule for any date prior to June 1 of the following year at no penalty. This option is provided because our fall calendar is typically heavily booked, and reschedule availability during that time may be limited. While we cannot guarantee a fall reschedule date, we will always make every reasonable effort to accommodate your event within our calendar.

 Typical Industry Rain Policies:

Most standard rain policies stipulate that, at the client’s discretion and provided the site is available, an event may be moved to the Sunday immediately following a scheduled Saturday event in the case of inclement weather. In many cases, this Sunday move is the only no-penalty option offered. Rescheduling to a future date often results in significant fees or penalties.

How Is Picnic Master’s Change Order Policy Different Than Most?

Many companies in our industry rely on complex event agreements and charge additional fees for making changes to your order. Picnic Master takes a different approach.

Our Event Agreement is intentionally designed to be simple and easy to navigate, without excessive fine print or unnecessary stipulations. WE NEVER CHARGE A CHANGE ORDER FEE, at any time. Whether you need to adjust details weeks in advance or close to your event, we believe flexibility should be part of the service, not an added cost.

Our goal is to make working with Picnic Master as smooth, flexible, and enjoyable as possible, so you can focus on your people, not paperwork.
